Waymo operates a commercial self-driving taxi service in the greater Phoenix, Arizona area called "Waymo One" , with Chandler, Arizona fully mapped. CHROME OS In September 2008, Pichai oversaw the successful launch of the Chrome web browser, and less than a year later, the web-based Chrome operating system for netbooks and desktop computers. Google announced the project, based on Ubuntu, in July 2009, conceiving it as an operating system in which both applications and user data reside in the cloud: hence Chrome OS primarily runs web applications.
